I live in the European Union, will there be extra charges if I order from My Doll Best Friend?
Our prices already include VAT which we pay to the European Union, so you do not have to do this! This means that our prices are final and your order will leave our warehouse and be sent directly to your shipping address - just like when the UK was in the EU. You will not have to pay anything extra. There will be no duty, no tax and no administration fee when your order enters an EU country.
International Shipping
For international shipping, your shipping cost will be calculated based on the weight of the goods in your basket at checkout. Delivery charges will be stated clearly and prominently on the checkout page before you place your order. Delivery charges do not include customs or import duties for which the customer is separately responsible - except for customers in the European Union whose VAT we pay to the European Union on your behalf. If you email Customer Service relating to individual shipping quotes or confirmation of shipping prices, we will refer you to this page: Delivery, and for specific information relating to the goods you wish to buy, we will refer you to the checkout page where you must add your full shipping address to see accurate and specific shipping options.
We ship to many international locations. We also offer FREE International Shipping to some destinations. If we do not ship to your location yet, Contact Us and we'll try to help.
Do you offer layaway?
We offer two types of spread payments. With Klarna you receive your order straight away. Klarna is only available to customers in the UK.
With Partial.ly you receive your order when you have made the final payment, typically after 3 months. Partial.ly is available to all customers, including our international customers.
Our warehouse team manages the order processing to ensure customers receive their goods on time. They are responsible for the inventory and checking in stock as well as other duties.
When we used to do it the process was: pick a doll, photograph the doll, upload the photos for our customer service team to forward to the customer, then wait for revisions. This took our warehouse team away from their duties and it simply didn't work for us. We have tried it and found that regrettably it is not manageable for us as a team so now we do not photograph dolls on an individual basis.
Will you measure a doll /clothes / shoes for me?
Our pick and pack team in the warehouse provides an excellent dispatch service, as well as managing all incoming inventory. We don't ask them to measure or photograph stock.
When we used to do it the process was to: pick a doll / clothes / shoes, return to the desk, take out a tape measure, note down measurements, email this to the customer service team for the customer service team to forward the information to a customer. The customer would then review the information, ask for amends and our warehouse team would be taken away from their key duties, which we found compromised their core work so we don't do it anymore.

Do you take telephone orders?
We regret we do not take any telephone orders due to the extensive online nature of this business. If you are having any difficulties with online payment please send an email to our Customer Service team who will be happy to help quickly.
