Kidz 'n' Cats vinyl play dolls by Heart & Soul created by Sonja Hartmann first became available in June 2009.

Originally these dolls had 9 joints but those made today now have 11 joints.

Their hair is wigged kanekalon fibre and their bodies are fully vinyl. These dolls measure 46cm or 18" in height. They are highly posable; they can stand, sit, climb, kneel and take on a variety of different poses which makes them highly desirable to collectors who like to photograph them as well as to children. They are safe for 3 year olds to play with but are much more suitable for children over the age of 5 years as their jointed limbs can take a bit of practice to get the hang of posing.

This year at the toy fair, doll artist and creator of the Kidz 'n' Cats doll series told us there will be 18 dolls, owing to the request of many customers not to allow the collection to grow too large.
