Fiona's face and body are sculpted by German doll artist Rosemarie Muller and made at the Schildkrot factory in Rauenstein, Germany. The dolls are named "Wichtel" dolls which translates to "elves" - 'balm for the soul' is how they are often referred. The vinyl is completely hard phthalate free vinyl. There are 5 fully articulated joints. Her hair is a hand knotted human hair wig. Her eyes are hand-blown glass eyes from Lauscha and her face is lovingly painted by hand.
Fiona's hair is a brown coloured wig, styled into cute bunches and two braids! She wears a beautiful blue and white dress, coordinating cross-over tie cardigan, pink socks and white leather shoes. Her very pretty clothing and accessories have been designed and made in Germany.

We offer free shipping within the UK for orders £50+
I live in the European Union, will there be extra charges if I order from My Doll Best Friend?
Our prices already include VAT which we pay to the European Union, so you do not have to do this! This means that our prices are final and your order will leave our warehouse and be sent directly to your shipping address - just like when the UK was in the EU. You will not have to pay anything extra. There will be no duty, no tax and no administration fee when your order enters an EU country.
International Shipping
For international shipping, your shipping cost will be calculated based on the weight of the goods in your basket at checkout. Delivery charges will be stated clearly and prominently on the checkout page before you place your order. Delivery charges do not include customs or import duties for which the customer is separately responsible - except for customers in the European Union whose VAT we pay to the European Union on your behalf. Do you offer layaway?
We offer two types of spread payments. With Klarna you receive your order straight away. Klarna is only available to customers in the UK.
With Partial.ly you receive your order when you have made the final payment, typically after 3 months. Partial.ly is available to all customers, including our international customers.
Will you take photos of a doll for me?
We have tried to do this and found that it is not manageable for us as a team, so now we don't photograph dolls on an individual basis.
Will you measure a doll /clothes / shoes for me?
Our pick and pack team in the warehouse provides an excellent dispatch service, as well as managing all incoming inventory. We don't ask them to measure or photograph stock.
When we used to do it the process was to: pick a doll / clothes / shoes, return to the desk, take out a tape measure, note down measurements, email this to the customer service team for the customer service team to forward the information to a customer. The customer would then review the information, ask for amends and our warehouse team would be taken away from their key duties, which we found compromised their core work so we don't do it anymore.
We are sorry we cannot provide this service.

We regret we do not take any telephone orders due to the extensive online nature of this business.
