My Doll Best Friend recently exhibited at the Mums Show Live! in London during a four day event and our dolls were such a hit that a couple of little girls couldn't put down the dolls we had out to play with. They were far too cuddly and were wearing lovely sparkly clothes from the shop's website so they were chosen over and above the same dolls new in boxes! These dolls were Gotz Jessica and Madame Alexander Buzzin' About, they went to new homes.
So, we got to open two new doll boxes! We chose Gotz Jessica again and Gotz Hannah & Her Dog this time- both 2013 dolls.
Jessica is a soft bodied standing play doll with vinyl limbs, glossy durable rooted blonde hair and closing blue sleep eyes with dark eyelashes. The Precious Day
collection which Jessica is from is always a very popular one as the dolls' faces are beautifully moulded and the dolls themselves are cuddly. They're a great choice for lots of other reasons too, such as they fit the same clothes as the majority of 18" play dolls and they are highly practical because they can be washed at 30 degrees in the washing machine if needed. Not only that but the Gotz brand name stands for high quality producing dolls that will stand up to lots of play and still have great hair and great vinyl. Jessica's sweet expression will make her a great girl's doll best friend.
Hannah is a very beautiful artist sculpted play doll by Hildegard Gunzel for Gotz. She has stunning long red hair and big brown inset eyes with long fibre lashes. She has a full vinyl body and she can tilt her head as well as move her arms and legs. Her hair is glossy, long and very durable and like Jessica's in fact all Gotz play dolls, it can even be heat styled (see tutorial
). Hannah came with a white plush dog with knitted dog coat, lead and collar, and bag to carry the dog too. This is a beautiful doll who receives lots of lovely comments from whoever sees her!
You will see lots more of these two dolls modelling clothes each season on the My Doll Best Friend
