Large baby dolls are longer in length than 45cm which is the length from which they begin to be able to wear real baby clothes, starting with premmie baby clothes. Doll dimensions can still vary from real babies so heads may be bigger or legs shorter, but it does open up the possibility of reusing old baby clothes for doll dress up and play.
