In the exceptional circumstances affecting the whole of Belgium society, we remain close to the citizen and at the service of the customer and pays attention to the safety of its employees.
We are aware of our role and therefore undertakes to carry out the tasks of the universal postal service and to ensure the continuity of its activities.
We also ensure that we guarantee the best working conditions to ensure the health and safety of all our employees.
In accordance with the measures taken by the federal government and the federated governments, we have therefore introduced a number of measures to continue to provide the best possible service while protecting its employees and citizens.
For registered mail and parcels several adjustments are provided, namely:
• The postman and the customer remain at least one meter apart;
• The distribution takes place to the extent possible without physical contact;
• If a signature is required, the postman himself signs for receipt in the presence of the customer.
This modified procedure will take effect on March 16 and will last until Friday, April 6.
