The pattern is ‘Rainbow Colors’ by Ase Bence. I used leftover fingering yarns and 3mm needles. The pattern includes a short but I thought she did not need it.

For the end of summer, I knitted a new dress to my Starlette Constance.

It’s a really cute outfit, too.

Nicole, she’s a lovely doll in a lovely outfit. Thanks for sharing.

Nicole, it works well as both. I used larger needles for mine, so they came up longer. I remember your longer version. It was pretty.

Stella and Pam, I did not intend to make a bathing suit but a playsuit. I remember my daughters wearing these but of course, they were not knitted! I have already knitted the longer version with the other top.
I find that with slimmer body of these girls the same outfit looks different from the original on Götz dolls.

Nicole, she is sweet. I agree with Stella, it reminds me of my swimsuit from the 50s! There was a craze for knitted swimsuits but they were a nightmare when they got wet haha!
When I knitted the shorts version of this pattern, I used the long version top, if you see what I mean!
    Lovely photos.

She looks lovely Nicole. The stripes and colours really suit her. Her outfit sort of reminds me of an old fashioned swimming suit, she just needs a beach ball now!

Two more photos hoping they appear on the right side.

I adapted the pattern ‘Play Suit Duo’ by Jacqueline Gibb for Minouche Lucie. I used fingering yarn instead of DK.
