Just to let you all know we have 2 new topics. There is a new sewing and knitting thread which loads really quickly 🙂 and there is also a new Pattern Testing page for Andrea’s and anyone else’s patterns so you all need to visit these pages and tick the box for notifications if you want to keep up!!! I will post photos of the dress I made from Andrea’s pattern on the pattern testing page later today. Chat soon 🙂

Very cute AND casual. The doll on the left looks almost real. I think it’s because her eyes don’t appear to be open too wide. The other two (and many dolls, especially the ones with sleeping eyes) appear almost startled.
I love the scale of the prints you used.

Sorry not to have replied sooner to everyone but I didn’t get the notifications again! They all went to junk and I didn’t notice! I don’t know why they did that!!! I need to catch up.
I have cut the fabric out now but will probably do Andrea’s pattern first this weekend. I have to go out today unfortunately so I am sure you will all beat me to it in producing dress no 2. Good luck everyone.
Sheri, I love the tunics and crops! Lovely to see your KNC dolls. I have that pattern so really must try it soon. You have sewn them perfectly!

Those are super cute Sheri! I love the fabrics you used. They look so put together with their white sandals. Love those too!

It’s going to be very slim pickings for fabric here until the end of October. The one and only fabric store in town is moving, so they are selling off what they have. It seems to me that all the really nice stuff has been shipped elswhere because there is basically ugly stuff and clearance junk left and it looks so bare! While the current store will stay open until Sept 23, they don’t reopen at the new location until late October! Good thing I have a stash ro I’d go into withdrawl! LOL!

I’ve emailed or PM’d all of you with the new pattern. Please let me know what you think of it! I will be making a short version of this dress to use as a tunic with the leggings. I’ll be writing that (the leggings) tutorial up next. Once I figure out the measurements for a Wrap Dress tunic and a shorter top, I will add those variations to the existing tutorial.

They have the chairs in all black, too. The finish isn’t great. I may use some Formby’s on it them and see if I can’t make the finish a little smoother.
I’ve CO another Gracie in Cotton Candy for the Therapy Animals of Utah doll. That will give me a chance to check out my instructions again.
