I’m not surprised you are tired today, Ann. You worked hard on the coat and hat, and then had a disturbed night. Hope you can rest today.
High winds here too. We’ve had storm Ciara, then Dennis and we are waiting for Ellen, I think! Keep warm and cosy everyone!

Ann, you deserve some R&R after that accomplishment!

Ginny, I agree, and how about “craftspersonship?”

Ann, the coat is stunning. I hope you feel really pleased with yourself – it looks so professional. Superb craftsmanship. (Craftwomanship?)

Thanks for the kind words on the coat. I was really tired when I finished yesterday. But also happy.

Today we are going out for a drive and then I will clean up the sewing room this afternoon. I didn’t sleep all that well as the wind was blowing hard and woke me up a couple of times. I’ll survive if I don’t push myself too hard today.

That’s gorgeous, Ann! I had to zoom in to get a look at the details. Well done!

Oh my word, Ann. It’s a masterpiece! You must be over the moon. The whole outfit is exquisite. It looks so classy and doesn’t look homemade at all. Nellie looks so happy to be wearing it. I’m so impressed by your patience and skill, Ann. The pattern looks like it fits great too. Thanks so much for sharing, and glad you are using the scarf pattern too.

I finished the coat and hat at 4 p.m. today. I used a spool of thread, emptied a couple of bobbins for hand basting and it paid off as this turned out great. Nellie is happy to model it for you and says it is lovely and warm. I am knitting a cream colored scarf from the pattern you sent me a long time ago Pam. If I have enough yarn, I’ll make matching mittens.

Ann, the coat is going to be lovely! Nice work, so far.
I was offline most of yesterday. I had my eyes dilated. Today I have to go out and order my new glasses. My old ones are really bad now.
I hope everyone survived the storm OK. It was 12ºF when I got up this morning. Brrrrrrr!

Ann, the coat is coming on a treat! You have placed the trim perfectly and it looks great.
