Simplicity pattern 2296 but I made it longer. It comes up a bit large but I think that is ok for a sun dress.
Also a reminder that this thread is for pattern details only, any comments can be left on the Knitting and Sewing thread. That way we can easily find the patterns when we want them. No worries if you forget, but let’s try and keep this thread so it is easy to find the details you want.
Also limit yourself to one photo here, and share as many as you like on the other threads 🙂

Here is Teachers Pet school dress by KottonCandy on Etsy. It is a simple little dress to make and fits well.

I worked Deb Denair’s Mirabella as-written except for the sleeves. For the sleeves, I picked up 32 sts around the armhole after sewing the shoulder seams. I worked in the round, decreasing 1 st at each end every 6th round 4 times (24 sts) and then worked straight until I had 30 rounds. I worked the cuff flat, purling back from last stitch and working as in pattern. Then I sewed up the cuff only.
The dress was the Yoke Dress (slim version) from Fancywork Fashions Best Doll Clothes Book by Joan Hinds, but I made the bodice longer, so it reaches the waist.
The petticoat is Deb’s Three Steps. I worked it as-written, but have since knitted it in-the-round.
I used 4-ply/fingering (Knit Picks Palette) for the knitted items, rather than the sport weight (for the petticoat) and DK (for the cardigan). I was able to get gauge, and I liked the feel of the resulting fabric.

Sewn outfit. Top from Simplicity 1484, View F, with sleeves left off and lined. Skirt was cut on the bias. Pants from the same pattern, but width increased by 1/2″ and cut 1″ shorter. The hem was finished by cutting a rectangle 2 3/4″ X 6 1/4″, pressing wrong-sides together and sewing the raw edges to the right side of the bottom of the pants leg before sewing up the inseam. Sleeveless tops and dresses are great paired with sweaters, because there’s no bulge at the shoulder.

One version of my Fair Isle Pattern, designed to be a first steeking project. Free downloads in three sizes: Slim (for Gotz HK, CK and Hannahs), medium (for Madame Alexander, Tonner My Imagination, Creatology and similar-sized dolls) and plus size (for American Girl and My Sibling dolls). It can be a cardigan or a “pullover.”

hopefully this works well and it is exactly what I meant. Of course some of my patterns are no longer available on Etsy or they are self designed but it will be great to have a record. My first one is a design from Bunnybearpatterns on Etsy called the 1930’s Garden Party Dress and I just love the sleeves. I lined the whole dress and sleeves as found that gave a lot nicer finish

I’ll start us off with my last project for Gotz and My Sibling dolls. I used Peggy’s Layered Look Sweater and Skirt patterns which are free on Ravelry.
Yarn – Palette, Stroll Tweed and My First Regia.
    Skirt weighs 19g
Sweater 27g, but I did it a bit larger than the pattern
Shorts pattern my own but I will write it up for those who want it.

This thread/discussion is the place to note down which patterns, yarns and fabrics you are using, for easy future reference. Please limit yourself to one photo only here of each make. Multiple photos of your outfits can still be posted and enjoyed on the Knitting and Sewing page, or photo page. This thread is more for the information on your projects.
Feel free to add any projects you have done in the past here too as well as new ones!

Perhaps it would be best not to leave comments or replies on thus page to keep it shorter and easy to find projects.
