Peggy, what patterns are you using for Matty/Carter’s shorts and shirts please? Or are they your own patterns. Thanks!

    Me too!

I think that is a photography background that you can buy online. There are some gorgeous ones I saw on Amazon.

LOL! I would love to be able to share!

I just checked and I used the last of the ones I had on a dress for Jana’s Bitty Baby, but here is a link to some that are just like the ones I had. The local fabric store has had buttons on at 50% lately for members, so I stocked up to keep an assortment on hand. I hope they still have more of these ones! They are moving to a new location at the end of August so I know they are trying to sell off inventory prior to that happening.

I don’t like the cloth bodies so much. They don’t look as good in clothes that are open at the neck, unless they have a vinyl upper chest, like the Madame Alexander dolls. The cloth bodies make them cuddly, though, so it’s nice for small children.

I agree on all counts! When I get Paris, I will need to get shoes for Daphne’s Katie as well. That may be a big order!

That’s so sweet, and Hannah looks lovely in it. Too bad we don’t all live closer, so you could share Andrea’s buttons.

Beautiful! I would love to know what you used for patterns for the cardi and the dress! What a great background? How did you manage that?

All I did was fold the fabric over so the lines matched up and press it that way, so that when I put the pattern pieces down on it, the lines would pretty much be in the same places on both pieces. Then I didn’t worry about it anymore.

That’s a pretty Hannah, Heather, and she really suits the red. I love the red panel down the front! I agree with Andrea that a row of tiny buttons or maybe a bow or something in the panel would finish it off nicely.
I must get sewing again… it is summer here and somehow I seem busier than ever. I need to find time to cut something out.
    Thanks for posting!

That is so pretty Heather! I love the detail in the pattern. What about a row of little white or cream ( can’t tell with my eyes which it should be) flower buttons down the front of her dress on the red? I have some shank buttons that are tiny little roses that would be perfect. Or a ribbon bow with rosette in the V of the collar? It is super cute and looks great with her hair. That style suits her very well.
