She actually started out with something easier, which is closer to the topic. This piece was written for the piano, but her teacher is having her play just the melody, so it isn’t as hard as it looks.

Gosh, Peggy – I can’t tell what tune Jolena is playing, but it looks very advanced. She is obviously a talented violinist! Just a guess -‘Home Sweet Home’ – with lots of twiddles…

Here’s this week’s “trailer.” Charlotte is practicing her violin. The tune she is playing sparks a discussion. Any ideas?

My DH I a member of my crew sometimes, too. He helped Billy put the bottles into the recycling machine.

Thanks, Ginny and Peggy. My DH helped with the photo of Kitty peeking round the tree. He is hidden behind it, holding her!
Ginny, it is raining here today, but over the weekend and Monday we had 3 days of wind with only a little rain, and it dried everything up. We were both surprised how dry it was!
    I love taking photos outside.

Ginny, that’s my favorite, too! Kitty is so cute and expressive. Great photos, Pam.

Lovely, Pam! Kitty looks as if she’s enjoying herself. I love the one of her peeking our from behind a tree. But, goodness, it’s dry enough with you to walk in the woods? How lucky. Here, everything is water-logged…and it’s raining again. If I took one of my dollies outside they’d sink in the mud!

It was Kitty’s turn to come for a play and walk in the woods. Here she is having fun.

I hope the storm is over!

Jolena is second fiddle to sledding, though. If there had been snow, we would have had an entirely different poem!

Thanks, Peggy. The wind is howling here now and the garden is water-logged, but otherwise all is well.

It’s sweet that Billy has a bit of a crush on Jolena – he’s such a little gentleman. As for learning from each other here, well, I’ve learned heaps and am often cheered and inspired by everyone’s posts.I love it on this forum.
