I have knitted the Kitty Cape for Luisa. It is the shorter version and perfect for the chilly autumn mornings or evenings – it’s a relaxing knit, once you get past the border lace and even that is not to hard to remember ๐Ÿ™‚

I so agree. How can you play families with only girl dolls?!

Me, too! I would seriously consider getting a boy and I still would like a blonde blue-eyed. I even considered getting Marie instead of Paris but until I sell my 15″ dolls and maybe 2 of my Kidz n Cats, I won’t add any more.

Yes, I asked my parents for a boy when I had six girls. Very few families have that many girls and no boys. I wanted a real family.

Yes, me too. I wonder if they will do a boy next year. After all, AG have one, Our Generation have one coming out and of course KNC and Sylvia Natterer all have them. Gotz need to catch up. I am sure girls and boys would both like a boy Gotz doll, not to mention us grannies ๐Ÿ™‚

If Gรถtz ever comes out with an HK or CK boy, or a different face, Iโ€™ll be in trouble.

Good for you, Peggy. I would be glad if someone learned from my mistakes! I bought way too many Gotz dolls, so now I am having to slowly sell them and keep a few favourites. That said, I have enjoyed everyone of them so it wasn’t all bad. I sometimes think the problem is that we can’t go to a shop and see all the dolls and choose a favourite. It is almost as if I had to buy them to see them, if you see what I mean. Now I am keeping a few and buying a few different dolls with some of the proceeds, but many more dolls are going to be leaving me than coming in. I am in no rush though… I will sell a few at a time ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, she said coming to live with me anyway. If the price stays the same, I can buy more at the same time. I find the addition of cost of shipping still makes them worth it. I think the quality is far superior to the AG dolls, which are nice, but pretty expensive. I think the Madame Alexander dolls are a better value with a lower price and similar quality.
Iโ€™m taking to heart the comments about needing to downsize the doll collections. It should be easier to keep it from getting out of hand in the first place.

Even at that price she is less expensive than American Girls and, in my opinion, a nicer doll. I’m not factoring in shipping costs. I’m only comparing the price of the dolls. If I didn’t already have Grace (Charlotte) I probably would go ahead and get her but I really need to downsize my collection. I just want to play with a certain few and there is no point in hanging on to the others.

I’m pretty sure the price is set especially if you pre-ordered, Peggy. I know she will be gorgeous and it will be hard for me to resist but I must!! Can’t wait to see yours though.
